Museum of Historic Buildings at Bromsgrove, West Midlands. A great chill-out
weekend in good company.

Shortfall Valley 2011
Most of the 10 days was hot and sunny, just one night of heavy
rain. These photos are in random order; some around the camps, some in the
marquee during the evening and a few around the rest of Newnham Park.
-

out at a Victorian Weekend ar this open-air museum near Worcester. It was a
change to do English Victorian, Mattie was great as Queen Victoria and Bryn
enjoyed being John Brown!
-
Bar-X Roundup, June 2009 We had a
short holiday at the Bar X Roundup, which luckily is quite near us. Evening live
music from Danny Rivers, Mickey Page and others was great. The weather could
have been better but at least it was mainly dry and we had a great weekend,
loads of laughs.
-

the biggest multi-period re-enactment event in the UK.

Brede for all the hard work organising the biggest and best camp in the UK.
-
Shortfall Valley 2007 We didn't
manage to go to Plympton this year, but these photos were forwarded to me by
some of those who did. The camp was as good as ever, and we are looking forward
to going again next year.
-
Shortfall Valley Rendezvous 2006 was the
third camp at Shortfall Valley, Plympton in Devon, but the first one we have
been to. It was absolutely fantastic, with an atmosphere reminiscent of the old
days at the Shire Horse Centre. If anyone else has photos they would like to see
here send them to me and I'll add them.

August.
-
WS2004 International Scouts Camp
We were asked if we could help out with some entertainment for the Opening
Ceremony of this week-long Scout and Guide camp, which this year has a 'Wild
West' theme. After just a few emails and phone calls we had over 40 volunteers,
some travelled 50 miles and more to put on a short shootout and an Indian
prayer. All who came deserve the highest praise for giving their time so freely.
-

unseasonable weather.

Bashley Park
June 2004 - Rain and gales meant that some of the shows were cancelled, but we
still managed to put on a Seneca Run for the kids camping on the park, and the
evenings in the club room were an excuse for dressing in our finest gear.
